You've come into my life with a brightness that needs no adjustment, which is unexpected; the clarity has barely changed, perhaps only the shadows, so it seems as though that light has really been there dormant all along. Who turned you on? Was it my hands? Was it my touch? It was in my understanding that this room had enough light as it was before you entered it. If I had seen you coming, I might have blown you out. But now that you're here, I was wondering if you'd like to see how we take on this whiskey-drinking movie-watching working life with more-than-just-friendly-incredible-laughter, because I simply cannot turn you off, and you have successfully lit me up.
