Today, I made a peanut stir-fry for lunch. I used 1/4 of a cup of natural organic peanut butter and a lime. I chopped and chopped and chopped and stirred and boiled noodles and rinsed them and minced and smelled freshness and sweetness. And when it was over, I thought about what I will do next time to make it better. Not what I could have done to make this one better, but what I will do next time to make the next one better. I ate the dish by myself. I wasn't alone, but I was the only one eating what I had made. Next time, I will rinse the noodles 3 more times, and add rice vinegar. And next time, I will be sharing the dish with someone else. And maybe, one day, I will share it with you. Whether it be in the closeness of my own kitchen, or off the menu in my cafe-to-be.
